U.S. Freedom Bio Fuels Latest Technology Converts Animal Fat to Fuel
U.S. Freedom Bio Fuels, LLC, manufacturer of Biodiesel production equipment for the commercial end user, has developed a processor for converting animal fat to fuel. There BD65AF processor will produce 200 gallons of fuel per day without acid pre-treat.
Mosinee, WI May 22, 2009 -- U.S. Freedom Bio Fuels, LLC, an innovative leader in Biodiesel production equipment, announced today, their latest processor; that allows the efficient conversion of rendered animal fat to Biodiesel fuel.
U.S. Freedom Bio Fuels, LLC, manufacturers of Biodiesel processors for the commercial end user has develop a new machine; the model BD65AF, capable of transforming rendered animal fat into Biodiesel fuel at a rate of 200 gallons every 8 hours.
According to sources at the American Association of Meat Processors, there are over 5000 USDA inspected meat processors in the United States. http://www.aamp.com Each meat processor is producing 1000's of pounds of trimmings per week that they currently pay to have hauled away.
For every 10 pounds of rendered fat, the U.S. Freedom Bio Fuels model BD65AF will produce 1 gallon of finished fuel, ready to power everything from diesel generators, diesel cars and trucks, to oil fired furnaces. The BD65AF will produce fuel in 40 and 65 gallon batches, with 2 hours required per batch, and 15 minutes of labor.
U.S. Freedom Bio Fuels, LLC, has successfully researched, built and tested the BD65AF in field conditions. There first machine went to Custom Meats of Marathon, Inc. Owner of Custom Meats, Inc, Tom Heise was looking for a solution to the high cost of rendering disposal, as well as a way to reduce the operating cost of his fleet of delivery and livestock transport vehicles.
Tom found a renewable fuel source that he and thousands like him had been paying to get rid of for years. By turning a waste product into bottom line profits, and burning a fuel that is 95% cleaner than #2 diesel fuel, Tom also experienced increased power in his vehicles as well as 15% improvement in MPG.

BD65AF Commercial Biodiesel Animal Fat Processor

First we start with a stock BD65 processor with all the current listed
features.
To process rendered animal fat we add the following items to the BD65.
1-18 gallon pre-filter transfer tank with 1000 watt heater.
400 degree F rated 3GPM pump and 10 ft High Temp hose with brass cam locks.
The bottom of the BD65 Processor Pre-Heat/De-Watering tank is fitted with 2 – 1000 watt heaters and 1- 50 watt drain valve heater.
To additional heaters are installed on the piping; 1 – 50 watt, and 1 – 100 watt to prevent the rendered animal fat from solidifying in the plumbing of the processor.
The electrical control panel has been modified to control the auxiliary Pre-Heat/De-Watering tank heaters separately from the main 4500 watt heater to prevent overheating of the oil.
There is also a separate switch for controlling the plumbing heat; plumbing heat is only required to run for 5 minutes prior to filling the processor.
The 18 gallon pre-filter/transfer tank requires 120 volt/single phase.
The processor requires the same voltage as a standard BD65; 240 volt/single phase with 50 amp service.
